Monel Forged Fittings are typically made from nickel-copper alloys such as Monel 400 or Monel K500. They contain around 63% nickel, 28–34% copper, and small amounts of iron, manganese, silicon, and carbon. These fittings exhibit outstanding resistance to seawater, acids, and alkalis. Mechanically, Monel provides excellent tensile strength, superior toughness, and high fatigue resistance. K500 variants offer even higher hardness and strength due to age-hardening.
